“Space” Box

A box shaped like a spaceship! This interesting box is from my collection of “Space Space” boxes. I built ten different boxes in this shape and this one is #10 of 10. The main part of this box is made of walnut with a ring of white oak and maple. The lid is maple and the knob, shaped like a spaceman, is made of walnut. The inside of the lid has a nice carvings and all is finished with an oil finish and finally finished with wax. This box measures 6” round and 3.5” tall. Inside dimensions 3.5 x 2.25
